Specify reading lenses when your glasses are used for near visual tasks such as reading and writing.
Specify computer prescription when you need the glasses at approximately an arms length or computer screen distance.
Distance prescription would be for general use including driving and television.
Bifocal lenses are D shaped with a flat top to provide a very wide reading area.
